Bday

Description

A concept I developed during the “Conceituando Interfaces” course at Aprender.design. The brief was to create an app called Bday where users could save important dates, such as friends’ and family members’ birthdays, so they would never forget them.

I saw an opportunity to take the concept further by adding a social layer to the experience. Beyond keeping track of birthdays, Bday would allow users to create groups, share events with friends, and discover events happening in their city.

avá.cheap

Description

A personal finance app I designed and built from scratch using AI-assisted development with Claude. I used to track my money in spreadsheets, and wanted a tool I would actually enjoy opening every day.

The visual concept draws from supermarket flyers and paper receipts, where everyday money really shows up. An editorial italic serif meets a yellow sale tag, and that tension shapes the whole product. Logging an expense feels like printing a receipt. Importing a bank statement means dropping a screenshot “at the checkout”, where AI reads it for you to review.

Beyond the product itself, this project was an opportunity to explore a new way of working: using AI throughout the development process to turn product and interaction ideas into a working application, from initial implementation to iteration and refinement.
The dashboard answers three questions at a glance: how much you have, how much will be left, and how much you can spend per day.

BTG Trader

Description

BTG Pactual’s trading experience was limited by a third-party white-label platform. In 2021, we decided to build our own product, giving the team full control over the experience.

My focus was creating a faster, more intuitive trading experience through user research, competitive analysis, real-world use cases, and continuous iteration.

As a design lead on the project, I owned the design of key experiences while leading the direction of others across the product. Some of the features I'm most proud of include the persistent Trade button, native portfolio sharing, and in-chart order execution.

Since its launch in April 2022, BTG Trader grew organically from 30K to a peak of 122K+ MAUs.

BTG Trader Desk

Description

BTG Pactual’s trading platform was evolving beyond the limitations of its existing experience. The goal was to create a more flexible workspace that could adapt to different strategies and levels of expertise.

As a design lead on the project, I helped the team shape the product experience and led the design direction across key areas, balancing the complexity of professional trading with a clear and customizable interface.

The result was a modern trading workspace designed to scale across different investor profiles and strategies.
